There are several different ways to get to Boquete, and our staff will be happy to help you with your travel arrangements.

Being located so close to a major hub like David, traveling to and from Boquete is very easy.

By plane:

Many travelers utilize the international airport in David to fly to and from various locations in Panama and David.  There are two major airlines that fly to David from variousl locations in Panama and Costa Rica, including Panama City, Bocas Del Toro, and San Jose, Costa Rica.  Generally, the cost of flights round trip within the country will run you about $120-$150.

By Taxi or Bus:

From Panama City and San Jose, Costa Rica there are buses daily that travel to David.  The prices vary but expect to spend around $15 and several hours on a charter bus.

Once in David. there are buses to Boquete that leave from the David bus terminal roughly every 20 minutes.  The ride takes about a hour and the cost is $1.45

Taxis are also available to Boquete from the terminal or airport and that is usually $20.00 to $25.00 and takes about 40 minute

From Bocas to Boquete The Bus leaves at 2:00 pm every day and arrives in Boquete at 5:00 or 5:30.

For the more adventurous, there are several rental car agencies in David.  The roads in Panama are well paved and safe, so if you have a good map, renting a car may be a good option for you.
